You think it’s impossible to find a Glam Rock / Sleaze Metal band with South African origin?
L.A. Cobra is the living proof that you thought wrong. This band which was founded in late 2005 is the African continent’s answer to the 80’s Hair Metal style.

“L.A. Cobra is the Glam band of the future, while their music and image portray the 80’s its still modern rock, which can be played over any radio station and drive ladies insane with pants tighter than skin.” – this is how the guys describe themselves in a few words.

The band consists of Don Cobra on vocals and guitar, Slade on lead guitar, bass guitar and Animal on drums.

Their music is largely influenced by bands like White Snake, Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Kiss or Skid Row (just to mention a few big names). If you ask them what keeps them going, they will answer: “girls, Harleys, big hair and a good time”.

They have recently released their new music video for the song “Stray Cat” which was taken from the latest L.A. Cobra album “How much snake can you take?”:

Be sure to keep an eye on them and follow them on their various pages & accounts on the web:
