When four ambitious guys got together in order to lower the worldwide amount of “trivial music”, a band named “Under Authority” was born.

Uwe Schön on vocals & guitar, Harry Grasser on guitar, The Hitman – Clemens Frauendorfer on drums & Mike T on bass are strongly influenced by bands like Nickelback, Daughtry, Foo Fighters, Lifehouse, 30 Seconds To Mars or Shinedown (to just mention a few big names).  With the inspiration of these bands “Under Authority” soon started to work on own songs which should underline their self-created guiding principle “Stand Up for R’n’R”.

In their working process they were greatly supported by the German top-producer Oliver Pinelli who has already been working with artists like Unheilig, Reamonn, Nena or Excuse Me Moses (who are very popular in German-speaking countries). Another important name to mention is Wolfger Buchberger who gave the guys a helping hand with his recording & engineering skills.

Now, after months of hard work in the studio, “Under Authority” are finally ready to show the world the results of their efforts – they have recently released their debut EP “Stand Up for R’n’R” (available on iTunes or Amazon).
